The project office, which was formed on the basis of Rosatom’s digital block, will be led by Ruslan Yunusov, who previously headed the development of the “road map” for quantum technologies in the federal “Digital Economy” program. Among other things, the project office will be involved in attracting support from the industrial sector. First of all, we are talking about companies that may be interested in extracting the competitive advantages of quantum platforms.

As part of the Rosatom project, the development of quantum computing is carried out by scientists from the All-Russian Research Institute named after. Dukhova. The process of developing quantum computer elements is carried out by scientists and engineers from Moscow State University, MIPT, NUST, MISIS, REC FMS and FIAN. In addition, specialists from the Russian Quantum Center, as well as some other academic institutions, will join this process.

Information that the Russian Quantum Center and NUST MISIS have developed a draft “road map” for the development of quantum technologies in Russia appeared several months ago. It is planned that by 2024 Russia will reduce the gap with other countries in the field of quantum technologies. As part of the implementation of this program, it is planned to form a specialized organization, as well as to allocate more than 43 billion rubles.
