Cine Encoder 3.5.4, a video converter, has been released. This program can be used to modify HDR metadata, such as Master Display, maxLum, minLum, and other parameters. The following encoding formats are available: H265, H264, VP9, MPEG-2, XDCAM, DNxHR, and ProRes. Cine Encoder is written in C++, uses FFmpeg, MkvToolNix, and MediaInfo, and is distributed under the GPLv3 license. Packages are available for the following major distributions: Debian, Ubuntu, Linux mint, CentOS, Fedora, Arch Linux, Manjaro Linux.
In the new version:
- Added support for external audio tracks and subtitles.
- Added the ability to run multiple instances of the program at the same time.
- The class for playing Gif-animation has been replaced (to reduce the load on the CPU).
- Fixed preset settings.
- Added file browser dock.
