The video converter Cine Encoder 3.5.4 has been released. The program can be used to change HDR metadata such as Master Display, maxLum, minLum, and other parameters. The following encoding formats are available: H265, H264, VP9, ββMPEG-2, XDCAM, DNxHR, ProRes. Cine Encoder is written in C++, uses the FFmpeg, MkvToolNix and MediaInfo utilities in its work, and is distributed under the GPLv3 license. There are packages for major distributions: Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, CentOS, Fedora, Arch Linux, Manjaro Linux.
In the new version:
- Added support for external audio tracks and subtitles.
- Added the ability to run multiple instances of the program at the same time.
- The class for playing Gif-animation has been replaced (to reduce the load on the CPU).
- Fixed preset settings.
- Added file browser dock.
