Publisher Deck13 Spotlight and studio Monolith of Minds have announced Resolutiion, a fast-paced action-adventure game "inspired by classic Zelda and similar action-adventure games."
Resolution is being developed by a German team. According to the description, the project will offer pixel art, dirty jokes, deep insights, and "fucking emotional melodies" over hours of combat, rewarding exploration, and layered storytelling.
In the story, you will play as an old killer, who is accompanied by a curious artificial intelligence in order to uncover the secret of the Cradle. In the passage you will meet a mixture of cynical gods from different cultures, emotional machines, fanatics, Luddites and furry creatures.
βOur goal is to combine the fun we had as kids with a layered story that will hopefully make players think,β said Richard Beyer. His brother, Gunther Beyer, added: "And surprise them with an artistic expedition through a futuristic nightmare."
Resolution is coming to PC in early 2020.
