Cyberbullying is online bullying. It can have various manifestations: in particular, children can be subjected to unreasonable criticism in the form of comments and messages, threats, blackmail, extortion, etc.

It is reported that about 70% of Russian teenagers have been participants or victims of online bullying. In 40% of cases, children who have become a victim themselves become aggressors on the Web.

β€œThe main difference between cyberbullying and bullying in everyday life is the mask of anonymity behind which the offender can hide. It is difficult to calculate and neutralize. Children very rarely tell their parents or even friends that they are being bullied. Silence and experiencing this alone can cause a huge number of mental problems, difficulties in communicating with classmates, ”experts say.
