At BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard Entertainment Overwatch 2 is the sequel to the competitive shooter, with improved graphics, interface, new maps and PvE modes. During the first demonstration of the project, the developers did not give a release date, but there is a chance that the project will be released as early as 2020. This is evidenced by the now-deleted message on the official account of the Brazilian branch of the PlayStation on Twitter.
Before the entry was removed, the publication I managed to take a screenshot and write a material about it. The original post said, "2020 will be the year Overwatch 2 hits PS4, and to prepare, we spoke to some of the game's developers who gave us some hot information." The link attached to the post leads to Brazilian PlayStation blog with a November interview from Overwatch 2 lead writer Michael Chu and assistant game director Aaron Keller.
While Blizzard and Sony have not commented on the leak. Perhaps the message was deleted due to inaccuracy, or it was simply published too early. Publication employees mentioned that Blizzard usually announces the release date of the game shortly before the release.
