Speedrunner ran The Outer Worlds in a record 11 minutes

American speedrunner Sharo sets a new world record for the fastest RPG The Outer Worlds by Obsidian Entertainment - 11 minutes and 10 seconds excluding downloads.

The achievement was set to the Any% category, which means that Sharo tried to get to the final by any means possible without any restrictions. However, the player did not use serious bugs.

The character Sharo could not boast of intelligence, charm or strength, but he was extremely dexterous, observant and strong in spirit. The last parameter is responsible for the speed of health regeneration - the speedrunner avoided fights, but often found himself under enemy fire.

Given the nature of the Any% category, Sharo used the shortest route to the credits, which only becomes available when the character's intelligence is set to low.

The Outer Worlds was released on October 25 on PC (Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PS4 and Xbox One, and will get to Switch in early 2020. The game has received good press and has already surpassed the financial expectations of its publisher, Take-Two Interactive.
