It is reported that last year, sales of relevant systems in our country grew almost three times - by 192% in unit terms. As a result, the volume of the industry reached 105 computers.

If we consider the Russian market of VR computers in terms of money, then supplies jumped by 180%. The result of last year is more than 9 billion rubles.

It is noted that the average cost of a system with the possibility of using virtual reality helmets was at the level of 87 thousand rubles.

At the end of 2018, Lenovo was the largest supplier of VR computers in our country with a share of 13% in unit terms. In second place is MSI, which managed to occupy approximately 12% of the industry. Next come Dell and Dexp, each with an 11% share.

We add that the demand for virtual and augmented (AR) reality helmets is growing rapidly on a global scale. According to IDC analysts, sales of AR / VR gadgets this year will reach 8,9 million units. If this forecast is justified, the increase in relation to 2018 will be 54,1%. That is, shipments will rise by one and a half times.
