The Steam digital store has updated the record for the simultaneous number of online users. As of February 2, this figure reached 18,8 million people. The developers of the Steam Database platform drew attention to this.
The previous record was set two years ago - in January 2018. Then the number of simultaneous online users reached 18,5 million people. At the same time, the service was unable to break the record for the number of simultaneously playing users: in 2018 this figure was more than 7 million people, and on February 2, 2020 - 5,8 million.
Previously Valve about changes to Steam's soundtrack policy. Since January 20, the studio has allowed developers to sell them separately from games. Users can purchase soundtracks and download them even if they do not own the original game.
