According to the teaser, on March 19, the Canadian studio Sabotage will present a new game. This will be the day of the spring equinox, which is separately emphasized.
The Quebec-based developer is known for his platform game The Messenger, reminiscent of the classic Ninja Gaiden. A distinctive feature of its gameplay is the switch from 8-bit to 16-bit mode, which involves time travel and puzzle solving.

Exactly what Sabotage is up to is still unknown, but the studio describes itself as a retro indie game developer: βThe retro aesthetic is modern game design. Sabotage's mission has always been clear: to create our own versions of the games we enjoyed as kids."
Speaking of Ninja Gaiden's focus on The Messenger, game designer Thierry Boulanger has made it clear that he's a big fan of the second installment of the famous series that inspired him to get into programming. The Messenger became the game he wanted to create as a child, and years later he fulfilled his dream.
Sabotage was founded in April 2016. Today the team includes 16 developers. The principle of their cooperation is built on self-expression. Although the concept of each game is clearly defined, each project participant is given the opportunity to bring whatever they want, both to the company's culture and to its products.
