CD Projekt RED Senior Producer Piotr Chrzanowski told Eurogamer, how a huge RPG with both add-ons managed to shrink down to the size of a 32 GB cartridge.

According to Khrzhanovsky, the most difficult to optimize was the Forest in the Swamps and the market in the center of Novigrad, they received the most attention.

In general, it took about 12 months to transfer the project to Switch. β€œIt’s exactly the same game,” says the producer. β€œYou play it, you feel everything the same, everything remains in place and there is no feeling that something was cut out of it.” The Witcher 3 will release on Switch on October 15th.
