American Fugitive Launch Trailer: A Top View of Prison Break and Revenge in the 1980s USA

Publisher Curve Digital and developers Fallen Tree Games have released their nostalgic open-world thriller American Fugitive with bird's eye view on PlayStation 4 and PC. The founders of the studio are said to have previously worked on games such as TimeSplitters, Crysis, Black and GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. For the launch of their brainchild, they offered a trailer filled with gunfights and gameplay snippets.

American Fugitive is dedicated to Will Riley - far from a respectable citizen, but not a complete villain either. He lives in the town of Radrock in the southern United States in the 1980s (many references to films and games of the past are promised). This place is steeped in corruption and crime.

One day, our hero is accused of cold-blooded murder of his father and imprisoned - he is overwhelmed with grief and a thirst for revenge. You'll have to run away to find and punish the perpetrators, along the way making a fuss in your hometown. A full-fledged plot is promised, full of secrets, deceit and self-interest, ups and downs and twists, as well as a mass of characters - both offenders and lawyers of all stripes.

In the wild, the player will have to mingle with the crowd, establish links with the underworld, while not forgetting to successfully escape from the scrutiny of corrupt cops. A real top-down carnage is promised, as in the first two games of the Grand Theft Auto series. At the same time, the project received three-dimensional graphics, destructible environments and car chases.

You can move around the surroundings of Radrock both on foot and on wheels. Of course, you can test yourself in races and stunts on any of the many available modes of transport. Greater freedom is promised: you can rob houses, steal cars, arm yourself to the teeth, perform a variety of tasks for crime bosses. The main thing is not to get caught by the police. Russian localization is available in the form of subtitles (however, there is no voice dubbing even in English).
