As with the teaser, the build of the game shown in the video dates from early 2019, and therefore does not reflect the current appearance of the project. This fact was commented by the developers themselves in my microblog.

"Hi all! We confirm that the circulating trailer is based on a year-old PC version for internal presentation. We are charged with your excitement and look forward to the opportunity to show how far the game has come [since then]," said Counterplay Games.

The developers also promised a "more detailed look" at the project soon. Recall that the next demonstration of Godfall is officially scheduled for this spring.

Godfall is set in "a vibrant fantasy world filled with heroic knights and arcane magic." From a gameplay point of view, the game is a role-playing action movie with a third-person view and co-op for three people.

However, the authors themselves prefer to call their creation a looter-slasher. According to the creative director of the project Keith Lee (Keith Lee), success in Godfall is 50% dependent on equipment and another 50% on the user's skills.

Godfall is being developed for PC (Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5. The game is expected to release at the end of 2020. Probably, the development of Counterplay Games will become part of the launch line of the new Sony console.
