A mixture of horror and survival simulator in the Chernobyl exclusion zone Chernobylite will appear in early access On October 16, developers from The Farm 51 studio announced.
In October, players will be able to explore the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, as well as the terrifying abandoned kindergarten in Kopachi, the mysterious Eye of Moscow, and parts of Pripyat. The early version will feature part of the story campaign lasting about 8 hours. Later, the authors promise to release updates with new episodes of the plot, locations, characters and equipment for the hero. “The plot of Chernobylite is non-linear, unpredictable and completely dependent on the player’s decisions,” the developers say. - The game will have many different endings. This means that even if you play through the early version, you can always enjoy the new story in a variety of ways."
We are promised a sci-fi survival horror game that combines free exploration of a dark world, complex combat, crafting and a non-linear story. “Try to survive and uncover the intricate secrets of Chernobyl in a 3D-scanned recreation of the real Exclusion Zone,” the authors add. “Remember that the presence of the military is not your only problem.”
Development is underway for both PC and Xbox One and PlayStation 4. An early version will only be available on Steam. Well, a full release is scheduled for the second half of 2020.
