Windows 10 Task Manager will have a new option

Microsoft has released a fresh update to Windows 10 Build 19541 as part of the "insider" program. It's available as part of the Fast Ring and includes a few minor improvements that may or may not make it into the 2020 release.

Windows 10 Task Manager will have a new option

However, the innovations themselves are curious. First, there is a new Task Manager option that will show users the architecture of each process. It is available on the Details tab and will show if the program belongs to the 32-bit or 64-bit category.

Secondly, it's a new icon on the taskbar that shows when any application requests the user's location. This is the development of the security ideas laid down earlier. At one time, the "ten" appeared a microphone display function, which notifies when a particular program is "listening" to the user.

In addition, Windows 10 Build 19541 introduces instant replies and Bing timers in the redesigned Cortana voice assistant. But the functions of jokes and others related to conversations are still in development.

It's important to note that these features don't have a release date as the company recently changed its early access scheme. They will appear when they are ready, and this can take a long time. Given that Windows 10 20H1 is already ready, and 20H2 will focus on fixes, chances are that these changes will remain in Early Access for the current year.
