The platform was named "MF Plot". This is a multifunctional base station designed for prompt reception, processing and analysis of hydrometeorological and geophysical information received from hydrometeorological spacecraft.

It is noted that the development of the system was carried out by specialists of the Ruselectronics holding, which is part of Rostec. The solution processes space meteorological information and calculates on its basis such parameters as land and sea surface temperature, cloud top height, type and intensity of precipitation, and soil moisture content.

The platform will provide an opportunity to receive high-resolution satellite images in an extended frequency range.

β€œCompared to the previous generation of similar equipment, the new multifunctional station allows receiving high-resolution satellite images in the C- and X-bands of frequencies,” the Rostec website says.

The Pyuzhet MF platform will be available in different versions - stationary and mobile. The mobile delivery set includes computing facilities and a portable receiving satellite dish equipped with a positioning mechanism.
