Meditative games are not uncommon these days. Developers from the French studio Pixel Reef decided to offer another such product, this time with an eye on virtual reality. Their game Paper Beast (literally “Paper Beast”) is created exclusively for the Sony PlayStation VR headset. A cute trailer was recently unveiled.

According to the history of the Paper Beast world, somewhere deep in the vast memory of the data server, its own ecosystem arose. Decades of lost code and forgotten algorithms have accumulated in the vortexes and streams of the Internet. A small bubble of life blossomed and this mysterious and strange world was born. The adorable wildlife, which actually looks like origami-style paper crafts, adapts to the player's behavior and actions.
