Obsidian Entertainment, together with the publishing house Private Division, have published a release trailer for the RPG The Outer Worlds. It focuses on the choice of the role of the main character, which determines the style of play, appearance and other characteristics. The video also shows rave reviews about the project from various gaming publications.
At the beginning of the video, viewers are shown an image of the main character, presented as a savior. The voice-over says: “Look at the stranger who came from nowhere and now everyone is talking about him. People consider him a shining hope and savior. Those people who have never met you." The trailer then shows the variety of roles that users will choose for their character. In The Outer Worlds you can transform into a hero, a hermit, a killer, a colonist, and so on. The appearance depends on this, which is most likely influenced by the choice of equipment.
The video also briefly shows the locations and use of certain types of weapons, for example, a cannon with gravitational projectiles. And in the second half of the trailer, the authors demonstrated positive reviews of the game from specialized media.
