The three-minute video is only available in Japanese and shows the main mechanics (battles, platform jumps, social elements), enemies, and numerous cutscenes of story scenes.

Despite the fact that Persona 5 Scramble belongs to the musou (β€œone against a thousand”) genre, developers promise role-playing elements and a full-fledged story with character development, at least two of which will be new.

In his microblog Atlus also announced that she would share new information about the game every day from 9 to 12 January. Today's gameplay trailer is just the first sign.

Rumor has it that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be shortened to Persona 5 Strikers for release outside of Japan due to trademark registration by Sega (Atlus' parent company) applied mid-December last year.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will release in Japan on February 20th. The timing of the release of the Western version is unknown, but the last numbered parts of Persona were delayed by no more than 12 months.

In the case of the extended version of Persona 5, the interval will be less than six months. The Persona 5 Royal edition for the English-speaking audience will go on sale on March 31, while the Japanese premiere took place on October 31, 2019.
