Possible Chromebook successor Google Pixelbook spotted in leaked videos

Two videos have appeared on the Web that have highlighted a potential successor to the Google Pixelbook Chromebook.

Possible Chromebook successor Google Pixelbook spotted in leaked videos

Rumors of a Chromebook codenamed Atlas by Google emerged last year. However, a video discovered by About Chromebooks and blogger Brandon Lall in the Chromium Bug Tracker database shows a device that does not at all look like Chromebooks previously made by Google.

Although it has the same thick bezels, its screen aspect ratio is not 3:2 like the Pixelbook, but the more common 16:9. In addition, above the keyboard is the inscription "ProductName", and not the label "G", which is usually marked with Google prototypes.

The second video once again confirms that this will be a regular laptop, not convertible into a tablet. This decision looks quite logical, since the new laptop-transformer can become a direct competitor to the Pixel Slate 2-in-1 tablet, forcing it out of the market.
