Publisher Bethesda Softworks and studio ZeniMax Online have unveiled a new major addition to The Elder Scrolls Online - Dark Heart of Skyrim. It will tell a year-long story and begin with the chapter of Greymoor. The gloomy cinematic video announcement is dedicated to this.
“Hear the Dark Heart of Skyrim pounding from the depths in The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor, a new adventure in The Elder Scrolls saga. The chilling evil of the First Era is awakening, and Skyrim needs heroes more than ever. Explore the snowy region of Western Skyrim, learn the hidden history of Tamriel and fight ancient enemies,” the description says.
The Dark Heart of Skyrim will begin in February with the Harrowstorm expansion, which will bring new dungeons. Then a key story chapter called Greymoor will be released, which will bring a lot of innovations and a fresh area for exploration - Western Skyrim. In the third quarter of this year, the developers will again release a set of dungeons, and closer to the end of the year, a story zone. The names of the last two additions have not yet been announced.
The story chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor will be released on Windows and macOS in late spring, on May 18, and on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 2. Those who pre-order will receive unique bonus rewards and immediate access to the in-game Siege Warhorse mount (digital purchase only).
