Celluloid 0.18 video player release

Available video player release Celluloid 0.18 (formerly GNOME MPV), which provides a GTK3-based GUI for the MPV console video player. Celluloid selected developers of the Linux Mint distribution to be delivered instead of VLC and Xplayer, starting with Linux Mint 19.3.
Previously similar solution accepted by the developers Ubuntu MATE.

Celluloid 0.18 video player release

Among the changes added to Celluloid 0.18:

  • Added menu item for opening disks;
  • Implemented support for showing or hiding window decorations using the “mpv —border” option;
  • In windowed mode, automatic hiding of the cursor is blocked when the volume control pop-up window is open;
  • Added interface translation into Ukrainian;
  • Fixed a regression that appeared since MPV 0.30 and caused the player to crash when pressing the “Menu” button.
