A few months after Waymo plans to select a plant in southeast Michigan to produce Level 4 autonomous vehicles, which means the ability to move around most of the time without human supervision, a subsidiary of Alphabet Holding said it has decided on a partner in Detroit to manufacture such vehicles.

Wamyo also added that it will work with a range of automotive industry partners, including Canadian company Magna, to equip cars with its autonomous driving system.
The upgraded plant will be the first of its kind in the world when it launches in mid-2019, according to a subsidiary of Alphabet Holding.
