Information about the product, according to online sources, was published on the website of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
The new product will receive an electronic unit, including a microprocessor and an information storage module. Power will be provided by a built-in rechargeable battery. The sensors will include an accelerometer, gyroscope, environmental sensors, etc.
The smart mask will allow you to record parameters such as the level of air pollution, the frequency of inhalations, the volume of air inhaled, the total time of wearing, etc. In addition, the device will be able to determine whether the user is stationary or moving.
The collected information can be stored in the built-in memory or transmitted wirelessly to a mobile application on a smartphone. The system will be able to detect respiratory abnormalities and dangerous levels of harmful substances in the air. Users will be able to receive various recommendations.
However, so far the Xiaomi smart mask exists only on paper. There is no information about the possible timing of the appearance of such a product on the commercial market.
