It seems that Xiaomi Mi 10 will receive a very effective cooling system using a large vapor chamber for smartphones (3000 sq. mm) and other features. The company emphasized that the cooling system in Mi 10 is significantly larger than that of its competitors and even provided a comparative image:

By the way, along with a large vapor chamber, Mi 10 will use several layers of graphite, which is designed to distribute heat much better throughout the device without overheating its individual parts. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun added that one of the key aspects of an effective cooling system is accurate temperature measurement. In this regard, Xiaomi Mi 10 will use 5 temperature control sensors installed next to five key components of the device: processor, camera, battery, connector and modem.

Using precise temperature sensing, a large vapor chamber, multiple graphite layers, and even machine learning for temperature control, Xiaomi claims the phone will be able to regulate temperature with an accuracy of 1 to 5 degrees.

By the way, test results for the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro in Geekbench 5 have also begun to appear. Judging by them, users can expect a noticeable increase in CPU performance: in single-core mode, a smartphone with a Snapdragon 865 chip scores 906 points, and in multi-core mode – 3294. Compared to Snapdragon 855+ this is about 20% more.

However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 single-chip system promises a lot of other innovations: the second generation 5G modem Snapdragon X55; 25% increase in graphics performance; capture photos with a resolution of up to 200 MP, record video 4K/60p HDR and 8K; support for Dolby Vision; new dynamic lighting capabilities for mobile games; real-time voice recognition and translation; 5th generation AI processor with 15 TOPS performance and much more.

It is expected that on the back side the base Mi 10 device will use a combination of 108-megapixel, 48-megapixel, 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. 3x optical and 50x hybrid zoom will be supported. The smartphones, as already officially confirmed, are based on the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, use LPDDR5 RAM, high-speed UFS 3.0 storage and a Wi-Fi 6 module. A 90-Hz OLED display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, liquid cooling technology and high-speed charging are also expected up to 66 W (in the regular Mi 10 - 30 W). The appearance of the devices and expected prices can be found on the posters in separate material.
