At the request of the community, Alt Mobile has expanded its list of supported devices with affordable and accessible Snapdragon 845-powered smartphones: the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T.
The porting work was completed fairly quickly thanks to the efforts of Vasily Doylov (neko@), a maintainer of packages and some devices for postmarketOS, a member of the ALT Gnome Development team, who recently started the Join pass in ALT Linux team.

The main difference from other supported devices is the need to initialize components through the out-of-the-box system. Android, otherwise the modem and some other components in ALT Mobile will not work. Read more in instructions.
The entire source code of the project is open - from assembly profile until packages, included in the distribution, and everyone can make a contribution by leaving a proposal on Bugzilla.
