The issue has been published Caliber 9.11 — a free e-book manager that combines a library, viewer, format converter, and news source download system. The release is scheduled for July 2, 2026, and the main change is the ability to export annotations as a separate HTML page, which can be opened in any browser.
List of changes:
Exporting annotations to HTML — Highlights and notes can now be saved as a separate web page. This file supports light and dark themes, text search, and filtering by highlight style, making it convenient for notes, reviews, and working with citations.
Fixing the viewer interface — Fixed a bug where the text area would not always resize correctly when resizing the window if the scroll bar was enabled.
Fixing Calibre 9.10 regressions — Python templates in the book details panel now work again, and default values for custom columns are now correctly applied when adding new books.
The built-in news download mechanisms have also been updated for Scientific American magazine и PhoronixCalibre builds are available for Windows, macOS, Linux and in a portable version.
