Another six months passed and the project publishes another report. The project is engaged in the aggregation of information about packages from the maximum number of repositories and the formation of a complete picture of support in distributions for each free project in order to simplify the work and improve the interaction of package maintainers both among themselves and with software authors - in particular, the project helps to quickly detect new releases software versions, keep packages and vulnerabilities up to date, unify naming and versioning schemes, keep meta-information up to date, share patches and problem-solving, and improve software portability.
- The number of supported repositories has reached 280. Added support for ALT p9, Amazon Linux, Carbs, Chakra, ConanCenter, Gentoo overlay GURU, LiGurOS, Neurodebian, openEuler, Siduction, Sparky. Added support for new sqlite3 based formats for RPM repositories and OpenBSD.
- A major refactoring of the update process was carried out, which reduced the update period to 30 minutes on average and opened the way for the implementation of new features.
- Added allows you to link to information in Repology based on package names in repositories (which may be different than projects in Repology: for example, the Python requests module would be named python:requests in Repology, www/py-requests as a port of FreeBSD, or py37-requests as FreeBSD package).
- Added allowing you to get a list of the most added ("Trending") and removed projects from the repositories at the moment.
- Launched in beta mode support for identifying vulnerable versions. The source of information about vulnerabilities is , vulnerabilities are attached to projects via CPE information obtained from repositories (available in Gentoo, Ravenports, FreeBSD ports) or added manually to Repology.
- Over the past six months, more than 480 requests for adding rules (reports) have been processed.
