Synology held Workshops 2019 conferences in Moscow and St. Petersburg at the end of April, which brought together more than 100 key partners of the company, business users and media representatives.

The already traditional events were held with the support of leading IT manufacturers such as Intel, Seagate and Zyxel. During the conferences, they talked about their new products: 9th generation Intel Core processors, Seagate IronWolf 110 SSD and Zyxel ATP series security gateways with machine learning and zero-day threat protection.

The official part of the event from Synology was opened by Anna Balashova (pictured above), Synology Product Manager (Russia, Ukraine and CIS), with a presentation on "Effective backup without additional licenses." Anna demonstrated backup solutions: Active Backup for G Suite and for Office 365 for cloud services, and also spoke about a specialized solution for business, Active Backup for Busines.

Rostislav Fridman (pictured above), Synology Product Manager (Russia, Ukraine and CIS) held a discussion with the participants on topical issues. A lively discussion allowed them to jointly create a complete business solution based on Synology.

Rostislav also announced the first two-controller system active-active Unified Controller UC3200, which is a fault-tolerant iSCSi server. Its appearance on the market is expected in the near future.

Nikolai Varlamov (pictured above), who heads the service and technical support service of Synology Inc. SLMP PTE Ltd., spoke about security solutions, mentioning both Synology's previous and current developments in the Surveillance Station software module. The Live Cam mobile app was also introduced.

A demo zone was organized for the participants, where they could test products and solutions in real time.

The Synology stand included three main blocks: backup and virtualization using a cluster; mail server in a load-balanced failover cluster; geographically distributed video surveillance with a monitoring center and a failover server.

In addition, at a separate booth, one could get acquainted with the comprehensive solution for remote control and monitoring Nebula from Zyxel.
