Sony has announced that it will stop selling Driveclub, Driveclub Bikes and Driveclub VR on August 31st. And on March 31, 2020, the racing servers will close and the online functions will stop working. Due to the focus on multiplayer races, all projects in the series will lose many features.
After the servers are turned off, users will not be able to complete other people’s tests or create their own tests, represent their club, or share statistics with other users. The leaderboard will disappear, and the season pass will only be available in single player mode. It will continue to work in all of the above games, preserving all existing content.
Racing simulator Driveclub was released on October 7, 2014 exclusively for PS4. On Metacritic, the game received a score of 71 from journalists based on 85 reviews. Users rated it 6,2 out of 10 (1672 votes).
