Biostar introduced the A32M2 motherboard, designed to build relatively inexpensive desktop computers based on the AMD hardware platform.
The novelty has a Micro-ATX format (198 Γ 244 mm), so it can be used in small systems. AMD A320 chipset enabled; installation of AMD A-series APU and Ryzen processors in Socket AM4 is allowed.
There are two slots for DDR4-1866/2133/2400/2666/2933/3200 RAM modules; up to 32GB RAM supported. Four SATA 3.0 ports are responsible for connecting drives. In addition, there is an M.2 connector for a 2242/2260/2280 solid state module with a PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA 3.0 interface.
Wired connection to a computer network is provided by the Realtek RTL8111H gigabit controller. The audio subsystem includes the Realtek ALC887 7.1 codec.
A discrete graphics accelerator can be installed in a single PCIe 3.0 x16 slot. There are two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots for additional expansion cards.
The interface panel has PS / 2 jacks for keyboard and mouse, HDMI and D-Sub connectors for connecting monitors, a network cable port, four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports, a set of audio jacks.
