Sven Vincke also hinted that the developers are taking a lot of creative risks with Baldur's Gate 3.

"It's all about how we adapt the books, the rulebook, and the feeling of sitting at the table without turning away from someone who's never played D&D in their lives," he said. β€œBy mixing everything together, I think we have found the right formula. But you will be the judge. You can't make a game without creative risks. More precisely, you can, but then you will make the same game. Considering how much money we're investing in this project, we've taken a lot of creative risks - I think even more than people expect."

So far, no details of Baldur's Gate 3 are known, other than that it will be released on PC and will be available on Google Stadia.
