OnePlus smart TVs are one step closer to release

It's no secret that OnePlus is planning to enter the smart TV market soon. About this the company's executive director Pete Law told back in early autumn last year. And now some information has appeared about the characteristics of future panels.

Several models of OnePlus smart TVs have been submitted to the Bluetooth SIG organization for certification. They appear under such codes as 43Q2IN, 55Q1IN, 65Q2CN, 75Q2CN, 75Q2US.

Thus, we can conclude that OnePlus will release panels measuring 43, 55, 65 and 75 inches diagonally. Moreover, indices like “CN”, “IN” and “US” indicate the preparation of a number of regional versions.

TVs will receive support for Bluetooth 5.0 wireless communication. The Android operating system will be used as the software platform.

Previously it also became is knownthat the new items will be equipped with a remote control with Bluetooth support. But OLED TVs most likely will not be able to boast of an OLED screen.

One way or another, Bluetooth SIG certification means that the presentation of TVs could take place very soon.
