Game Developers Choice Awards nominees have been announced - Death Stranding is in the lead
The organizers of the annual Game Developers Choice Awards have announced the nominees for the upcoming ceremony. Leading by number of mentions among finalists Death Stranding.
The experimental action game from the revived Kojima Productions is up for seven out of ten awards, including Best Design, Best Visual Style and Game of the Year.
The second place in the number of nominations was shared among themselves Control from Remedy Entertainment and Outer Wilds from Mobius Digital. Both games are up for five awards, including the main one.
In addition to the listed projects, uncompromising action will also compete for the title of best in 2019 Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice from From Software and indie sensation Untitled Goose Game from developer House House.
Nominees for the Game Developers Choice Awards were considered for all games that became available during the past calendar year, regardless of platform or distribution method.

Didn't make it into the nomination, but deserve mention: Gears 5, Resident Evil 2, Manifold Garden, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, The Outer Worlds, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Outer Wilds.
Not included in the nomination, but worthy of mention: Mutazione, Assemble with Care, Pilgrims, Archero, Card of Darkness and Mini Motorways.

Game Developers Choice Awards 2020 will begin on March 19 at 5:30 Moscow time. GDCA nominees and winners are determined each year by a special panel consisting of invited game developers.
