TSMC recruits Indian developers

Taiwanese contract semiconductor manufacturer TSMC opened offices in India in 2007, but it did not open up America. Product development centers in India are home to many of the biggest players in the semiconductor market, including our favorites Intel, AMD and NVIDIA. The question is how much foreign companies are willing to tap into the talent of Indian developers. TSMC, as follows from fresh ads on the website Linkedin, plans to walk across India with a wide seine.

TSMC recruits Indian developers

In February, TSMC will hold recruiting events in three major Indian cities - Noida, Hyderabad and Bangalore - to identify Indian talent among semiconductor designers and designers. It is noteworthy that this will not be hiring in local offices, but employment with relocation to Taiwan, which distinguishes this event from all previous similar events.

Apparently, TSMC is trying to find valuable personnel for the new semiconductor factories that it is building separately for the production of 5nm chips (the first phase has already been completed) and 3nm. The Taiwanese company has a huge need for new engineering personnel, amounting to thousands, if not tens of thousands of specialists. At the same time, engineers from Taiwan are actively entice Chinese companies, which TSMC also has to reckon with. The fight for staff is heating up. Where will they look next? A good reason to think about choosing a future profession.
