Russian doctors will have an AI-based digital assistant

Sberbank intends to implement a number of promising projects in the healthcare sector using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. As reported by RIA Novosti, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Alexander Vedyakhin spoke about this.

Russian doctors will have an AI-based digital assistant

One of the initiatives involves creating a digital assistant for doctors. Such a system, using AI algorithms, will speed up the diagnosis of diseases and increase its accuracy. In addition, the assistant will be able to recommend the most effective treatment.

Such an AI assistant will be trained on an extensive array of data generated with the participation of highly qualified medical specialists. In other words, the digital assistant will be able to use the experience of a large number of doctors of the highest category.

β€œWe see great potential in creating smart tools for the doctor and his assistant, which allows the specialist to diagnose the disease faster and better and offer the necessary treatment. We are already discussing with several Russian regions the start of this work at the regional administration level,” said Mr. Vedyakhin.

In addition, Sberbank is developing an AI-based platform for analyzing medical images. It was noted that existing algorithms already make it possible to identify signs of various diseases with high efficiency.
