The development of new protection tools was carried out jointly with specialists from Disconnect, which created a solution for blocking online trackers. In addition, Firefox uses the ad blocker from Disconnect. At the moment, the previously announced features are integrated into Firefox Nightly 68 and Firefox Beta 67.

The tracking tracker blocking tool prevents websites from collecting data that forms the basis of a user's digital footprint. Among other things, the browser will prevent the collection of information about the version of the operating system used, location data, regional settings, etc. All this can be used to display content that can attract the user's attention.

Hidden miners are often placed on the pages of web resources in order to mine cryptocurrencies using the computing power of the user device. Because of this, the performance of devices decreases, and in the case of mobile gadgets, the battery consumption also increases.

By downloading one of the previously mentioned versions of the browser, you can take advantage of the new features now.
