“Developing a game for new systems is always interesting. The main difference between Stadia is the ability to quickly connect servers to each other. This allows you to implement new ideas in a multiplayer game. For example, we created an exclusive mode for GRID in Stadia with 40 cars on one track. This is simply not possible on other equipment,” Green said.

Green also discussed Stadia's performance. He praised the platform and said that there was almost no delay in the service. In addition, he noted that the picture quality is very similar to the maximum graphics settings on the PC and it runs smoothly at 4K resolution.

When asked whether he considers Google Stadia the platform of the future, the developer responded evasively.

“We are interested in new equipment regardless of whether it is local or remote. The main thing is that users can get new amazing features. Designers will try to understand them and implement it in games. If we're just talking about Stadia, I think its integration with YouTube could lead us to new ways to interact with video games."

GRID was released on September 13, 2019. The project will be one of 14 games that will replenish Google Stadia library until the end of this year. The launch of the cloud platform is scheduled for November 19.
