Octopath Traveler will probably be ported to PC in early June

Square Enix published material on its website in which it announced the PC version of Octopath Traveler and announced its release date. Almost immediately the news was deleted, but Gematsu employees managed to copy it completely.

Apparently, Octopath Traveler will appear on PC in early summer, on June 7. It will be sold on Steam and Square Enix Store. For now, the project remains exclusive to the Nintendo Switch; its premiere on the hybrid console took place on July 13 last year.

The critically acclaimed JRPG follows eight inhabitants of the Osterra region, who are completely different from each other and each of whom has their own reasons for going on a long journey. You can start the passage as any hero, later all the other characters will join him, but you can only take three partners with you in your squad.

“Octopath Traveler is another average game from Square Enix for those who have heard about classic JRPGs, but have never seen truly worthy representatives of the genre of that era,” wrote Ivan Byshonkov in our review. “It turned out well, you can try it, but after finishing it it immediately goes out of your head.” By the way, Square Enix did not say anything about the features of the PC version in that note.
