Video: action role-playing action Godfall footage from an unpublished trailer a year ago

New footage on the web announced for the PlayStation 5 action role-playing game Godfall. They were reportedly taken from an unreleased trailer put together a year ago.

Godfall is the first RPG to be announced for the PlayStation 5 and will be included in the console's launch roster. The game is being developed by Counterplay Games and will be published by Gearbox Publishing.

From what we know, Godfall is a third-person fantasy RPG slasher where players hunt for loot, don legendary armor sets, and defeat vicious enemies. It will have multiplayer features, including cooperative play (two or three). Single player is also possible.

Godfall will not release on current generation consoles. According to creative director Keith Lee, the project will take advantage of the adaptive triggers on the PlayStation 5 controller. The console's SSD will also allow for seamless loading of the game's vast world.

The game will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC (Epic Games Store) at the end of this year.
