The Volkswagen concern has lifted the veil of secrecy over another representative of the ID family of electric cars. It was the ID concept car. Space Vizzion, a full presentation of which will take place on November 19 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
ID. The Space Vizzion is a station wagon with an all-electric powertrain. The car is built on Volkswagen's proprietary modular electric drive platform MEB.
When creating the car, special attention was paid to aerodynamic qualities, which made it possible to increase the power reserve. It is claimed that the station wagon will be able to cover a distance of up to 590 km on one recharge of the battery pack.
Model ID. Space Vizzion will be equipped with a fully digital cockpit. In the central part of the front panel there will be a large touchscreen display of the on-board infotainment system.
It is planned to use environmentally friendly materials in interior decoration. For example, there will be AppleSkin artificial leather, made using residues from apple juice production.
Commercial version of ID. Space Vizzion is scheduled to be released by the end of 2021. It will be released in modifications for the markets of North America, Europe and China.
