On March 20, a new version of DXVK 1.6 was released.
DXVK is a Vulkan-based DirectX 9/10/11 layer for running 3D applications under Wine.
Changes and improvements:
- The d3d10.dll and d3d10_1.dll libraries for D3D10 are no longer installed by default, because d3d10core.dll and d3d10.dll libraries are enough to support D3D11; this opens up the possibility of using the D3D10 effects framework of the Wine implementation.
- Minor D3D9 performance improvements.
- Possible crash fix in case of capturing apitrace snapshot.
- Crash fix for Source 2 games using the D3D9 renderer.
- Fix for duplicate display mode change code.
- Fixed video display instead of green screen in some games.
- Fixes for compatibility issues with some games.
