In the AnTuTu benchmark database, information has appeared about a new high-performance ASUS smartphone, which appears under the code designation I01WD.
It is reported that the device uses Qualcomm's flagship mobile processor - the Snapdragon 855 chip. Its computing node contains eight Kryo 485 cores with a clock speed of 1,80 GHz to 2,84 GHz. The graphics subsystem uses the Adreno 640 accelerator. In addition, the processor includes a Snapdragon X24 LTE modem for fourth-generation mobile networks.
The results of the AnTuTu test indicate the amount of RAM and the capacity of the flash drive of the I01WD smartphone - 6 GB and 128 GB, respectively. The operating system Android 9.0 Pie is used as a software platform.
The screen size is not specified, but its resolution is called - 2340 Γ 1080 pixels. Thus, a Full HD+ format panel will be applied.
Observers believe that the smartphone may debut on the commercial market under the name ASUS ZenFone 6Z. The device is credited with the presence of a retractable front camera and a powerful rear camera, which will include a 48-megapixel sensor.
The official announcement of new items may take place next month. ASUS, of course, does not confirm this information.
