For quite some time, the Assassin's Creed series has been Ubisoft's most successful series in terms of number of copies sold. Recently, the company shared updated data, and the situation as a whole remained the same - we just learned the new achievements of the French publishing house.

In a post released by industry analyst Daniel Ahmad, Ubisoft has updated its sales figures for all major series. Assassin's Creed still occupies an unattainable first place: at the moment, the company has sold 140 million copies of all games in the series. Assassin's Creed turned 12 this year, which means that on average, more than 11,5 million copies of games under this brand were sold each year. Ubisoft also said that of that number, over 95 million are unique players.

Ubisoft's next most successful brand of games after Assassin's Creed is Just Dance. While it managed to secure a respectable second place, Just Dance currently only sells half that of AC, with a total of 70 million copies. According to Ubisoft statistics, over 2,5 billion songs have been launched in Just Dance games to date.

Arguably Far Cry is the French publisher's next best-selling series and has sold 50 million copies since Far Cry 2 was released. As for Ubisoft's other well-known brands, Splinter Cell games have sold over 30 million copies and Rabbids projects have sold over 20 million. Other achievements include 50 million players in Rainbow Six Siege, 30 million in Ghost Recon, 21 million in For Honor, and the same number in The Crew. And the first major series of the publisher was the game about Reiman - at the moment, more than 40 different versions have been released for more than 20 platforms.
