Hello, fans of Heroes of Might and Magic 2!
Today we have an update! New 1.1.6 version game engine is available for installation for everyone! Let us briefly tell you about what new things await players after the update.
The hero exchange window has been improved using engine and artist algorithms. New buttons for exchanging armies and artifacts took place between the corresponding sections of the window. We did not remove the one-way transfer, but rather moved it to the sides. Players now have access to all the options for transferring armies and artifacts in the original game design.
The editor now has an extended version system settings window, which includes additional buttons that add new ways to interact with the game. Now users have access to a new button to return to the main menu and a button to launch the current map, which was not available in the original editor.
In addition, for the convenience of users, a place has been taken in the editor interface on the main screen two new buttons. The "undo" button is now presented in a new design, and a new "redo" button in a similar style is located nearby. These functions are typical for any editor and we are sure that they will make working with our map editor much easier.
Object on the map "event" received additional possibilities. When interacting with it, the hero can now gain experience and even certain secondary skillIn the future, we plan to further expand the functionality of this object so that users can create even more sophisticated maps.
New has been added to the battle auto battle submenu, allowing you to choose between traditional transfer of control of your troops to AI or instant resolution of the battle in automatic mode. Now the player has access to these functions not only with the help of "hot keys", but also with the help of a full-fledged game menu made in the style of the entire interface of Heroes 2.
These and many other improvements and bug fixes that have accumulated since the last update over 50, are waiting for you in the new version.
