The mount-tui project has been published. It develops an interactive text interface for viewing and mounting local block devices, as well as connecting network resources via the SMB/CIFS protocol. The mount-tui utility can be run as a regular user. If you attempt to perform a privileged operation, the program prompts you to restart it via sudo. The cifs-utils package is required for SMB support, and the ntfs-3g driver requires the package of the same name. Commands are also provided for installing the executable file to "/usr/local/bin" and building packages in DEB and RPM formats.
